Velociraptor mongoliensis was a late Cretaceous feathered predator, from what is now Mongolia.

Although the species name was made famous by the Jurassic Park films, our TRX sculpture more accurately represent what the animal actually looked like in real life. Being just over 6' long and 2' tall, almost entirely covered in flightless feathers and sporting the signature sickle claw on the middle hind toes, Velociraptor more closely resembles modern birds, than scaly reptiles.  

Construction:

This full-scale Velociraptor statue is made of lightweight dent-proof foam, with an articulating posable wire armature inside. This allows the figure to be positioned in a number of poses without the need for large mounting structures. Its incredibly lightweight and durable construction makes it perfect for a teaching tool.
